EDUCATION
Dr.
Giusto graduated from the State University
of New York at Stony Brook - - 3 times.
He received his B.A. degree
in 1991, his Doctor of Dental Surgery
degree (D.D.S.) in 1995, and his Certificate
in Periodontics, including implant training,
in 1998. In 2003, Dr. Giusto became a Diplomate
of the American Board of Periodontology, meaning
he is a Board-Certified Periodontist.
He is in the vast minority of periodontists in the
entire country who have achieved this distinction.
As one of the few Board-Certified Periodontists
in the area, Dr. Giusto strives to provide only the
highest level of periodontal treatment.

PROFESSIONAL
LEADERSHIP/ ACTIVITIES
Dr. Giusto is very involved in organized dentistry
and forensic dentistry as well. From 2004-2006,
Dr. Giusto was the President of the Union County Dental Society,
and from 2003-2008, he also served as the Union County liaison for the Membership
Council for the New Jersey Dental Association. From
2000-2002, he was the Chair of the New Dentist Council
for the New Jersey Dental Association.
In this capacity, he was instrumental in spearheading
several programs for the state. Some of these included
dental student programs initiated with the New
Jersey Dental School (UMDNJ), as well as
at a Newark Middle School. Since 1999, Dr. Giusto has held an appointment as a member
of the dental staff at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital at Rahway.
Additionally, Dr. Giusto has an extensive background
in Forensic Dentistry. He completed a 100 hour Selective
in Forensics during his senior year of dental school
(1994-95) and he has been a member of the New Jersey
State Disaster Victim Identification Team since 1999.
He has volunteered over 100 hours doing dental identification
for TWA Flight 800 (1996), American Airlines Flight
587 (2001), as well as the World Trade Center (2001).
In March, 2004, he completed the renowned Armed Forces
Institute of Pathology’s formal Forensic Dentistry
course in Bethesda, MD.

PERSONAL
Dr. Giusto, originally from Long Island, New York,
has been practicing in New Jersey since 1998. He and
his wife, Jennifer, reside in Summit, with their daughters,
Sydney and Stephanie.
